The Department of International Trade and Exhibition offers undergraduate programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Economics in International Economics & Trade with a concentration either in International Freight Forwarder or Export Practice, the Bachelor of Management in International Business with a concentration either in International Business Management or International Investment, and the Bachelor of Management in Exhibition Economy & Management.

The undergraduate program of International Economics & Trade and  International Business are seeking accreditation from ACBSP.

International Economics & Trade Program Core Courses


○ 1A21315 Microeconomics. 3 Credit Hours (Lecture: 3 Credit Hours, Practice: 0 Credit Hours).

The content of microeconomics focuses on the discussion of demand, supply and equilibrium prices, consumer behavior theory, producer behavior theory, basic theory of national income determination, unemployment, inflation and economic contraction, as well as the government's fiscal and monetary policies for macroeconomic regulation and control, based on the basic requirements of microeconomics course teaching and the principle that it must be sufficient, with "market-oriented allocation and utilization" as the core content. This course briefly and vividly introduces the basic principles, analytical tools and methods, theoretical application and policy analysis of economics. These knowledge basically meet the requirements of economic management students for basic economic theory.

Through the teaching of this course, students will comprehensively and systematically master the basic concepts, basic ideas, basic analysis methods and basic theories of economics, clarify the overall content, main conclusions and application conditions of economics, have a comprehensive understanding of the basic problems and basic views of economics, be able to establish the basic thinking framework of economics, and correctly understand the logical relationship and basic laws of economic operation, be able to conduct simple analysis on economic problems and economic phenomena, and have preliminary analysis ability. For the learning outcomes, we focus on the development of students' awareness and ability of thinking and exploring problems, indentify the economic hot and difficult problems and relevant social consequent problems caused by economic problems, so that students can understand and use the economic theory knowledge they have learned, explain and analyze economic problems, and consider suggestions and countermeasures to solve economic problems, assist students understand the basic laws of economic operation, improve and enhance students' ability to observe economic phenomena, analyze and solve economic problems, and enable students to better adapt to economic management and social work in the future.

1A21325 Macroeconomics is a required course for economics and management majors. It is a subject that studies the relationship between economic aggregate. It takes the total national economy as the research object, analyzes the relationship between macroeconomic variables, reveals the operation law of macroeconomic, and explains the important role of government macroeconomic policies. The main contents include short-term economic fluctuation model, long-term economic growth model, open economic model and macroeconomic policy. 1A10415 Practice of International Trade takes the international sale of goods as the object, the international trade contract as the core, and the contract performance procedure as the main line, focuses on the transaction terms of the contract, takes the international trade practices and laws as the basis, and links with China's foreign trade reality to explain the specific terms of the international sale of goods contract, as well as the basic links and general practices of contract negotiation, signing and performance. 1A13365 Practices and Operations in International Trade is a required core course in the Program of International Economics and Trade, and the core course for practical majors. Taking the export business workflow as the main line and a specific export business assigned to students as the carrier, the course requires students to complete the tasks of four modules, including export business negotiation, export contract signing and letter of credit processing, export business implementation, export business collection and aftermath, with a total of 16 steps as exporters.
